Camryn Millon is originally from Los Angeles, California, and currently lives in Petersburg, Virginia. Camryn is a graduate student pursuing a degree in Public Service Leadership and Management—a path that reflects her deep commitment to advocacy, justice, and meaningful community impact.
With a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Camryn had the opportunity to closely examine the deep-rooted issues within the justice system. That experience has sharpened her focus and fueled her passion for reform, particularly in the areas of criminal justice and environmental justice. She is actively creating a path to be an agent of change—one that brings forward new ideas, uplifts communities, and strengthens nonprofit efforts aimed at equity and sustainability.
Her goal is to continue expanding both her knowledge and relationships within the community to better serve those often overlooked or underserved. She believes in the power of intentional leadership and the importance of listening to and learning from those with lived experience.
Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, she enjoys returning home to California to reconnect with family and friends, and finds peace and inspiration in reading during her spare time. Every step of her journey so far has shaped her into a thoughtful, determined, and passionate leader—and she looks forward to the work still ahead.
